✨ 3. Free Tier and AI Allowance

Kitchya offers a free tier with access to core features. The free tier includes an AI action allowance:

30 AI actions during your first 14 days, then 5 AI actions per month thereafter. An “AI action” is any request that uses our AI features, such as generating a meal suggestion or analysing a recipe.

We may adjust the free tier allowance with reasonable notice. We will notify registered users by email for any material reduction.

AI actions that fail due to a technical error on our side do not count against your allowance.

⭐ 4. Kitchya Premium

Pricing

Kitchya Premium is available as a subscription:

Prices include any applicable VAT.

Auto-renewal

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. By subscribing you authorise us (or Apple, Google, or Stripe as applicable) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.

How to cancel

Cancelling stops future charges. You retain access to Premium features until the end of the paid period.

Billing and refunds

Billing is handled by the platform you subscribed through:

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the right to a refund for faulty digital content.

Free tier during cancellation

After your Premium subscription ends, your account reverts to the free tier. Your data (recipes, meal plan, pantry, family sync) is not deleted.

🤖 5. AI Content Disclaimer

Important: Recipes, meal plans, nutrition information, and macro estimates generated by Kitchya’s AI are suggestions only. They are not medical or dietary advice and must not be relied upon as such.

Always check all ingredients for allergens and suitability for your household. Kitchya’s AI may occasionally produce inaccurate information. We recommend reviewing generated content before preparing meals, particularly in relation to:

We accept no liability for harm arising from reliance on AI-generated content without appropriate independent verification.

👨‍👩‍👧 6. Family Sharing

Kitchya’s Family Sync feature allows multiple household members to share a meal plan, pantry, and shopping list using a shared PIN.

When you join or create a household sync group:

We are not responsible for content posted in Family Notes by household members. If a member posts inappropriate content, you can clear it and, if necessary, generate a new sync PIN.

The Kitchya app, its design, code, and original content are owned by Toby Rankin trading as Kitchya and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of Kitchya without our written permission.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at hello@kitchya.com. We will delete your data within 30 days in line with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your access to Kitchya if you breach these Terms, without prior notice in serious cases. We will refund any unused portion of a paid subscription period where termination is our decision and not caused by your breach.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
